The Nestlings Program at Veranda has been uniquely conceptualised to give you, the mother and your child ample opportunities to explore and learn through a range of activities in a safe and comfortable environment. We have curated a program that engages all the senses - Visual, Auditory, Kinaesthetic etc. - to lay a strong foundation in the early years. Our program will help you learn new ways to interact and stimulate your child's mind and movements while creating a special and intimate bond. We will help fuel your child’s sense of independence, curiosity, and creativity and train you in ways to keep the learning going at home. You will be amazed to see your child's imagination and confidence grow by leaps and bounds. We offer you the chance to not just watch, but actively take part in your child’s growth and development and meet and connect with other moms as well.

The first step children take into formal education atmosphere, this programme imparts pre writing skills, early math skills, exposure to nature, dance and drama, creative activites, experimental activities which foster independence. This in turn results in self discovery and exploration of the world.

This program is a prequel to LKG or Lower Kindergarten. Childern learn number concepts, first level reading, exposure to science and technology, combined with the joys of dance, drama, music and field trips.

The first step into a more formalized structure. We provide an opportunity to learn and practice the essential social, emotional, problem-solving, and study skills that a child will use throughout schooling.

During this year we let the child explore the pre requisites of the Cambridge curriculum, helping them develop an informed curiosity and a lasting passion for learning along with the following skills:
-Learn to coordinate and cooperate with fellow students
-Improve communication skills
-Express their creativity through art, singing, theatre and dance
-Foster a love of books, reading, and writing.

Our Grade 1 curriculum is designed based on theory of MI. It is activity based and learners are exposed to experiential learning. The program help the learners to be confident, independent thinkers and ready to face the competitive world. They will continue to learn Language Arts, Math and Science as core subjects. They are introduced to Social Science, Languages, Global Perspective and Computers. Our little stars will develop more skills through co-curricular activities like theatre, Movement, Value Education, Art, Fitness, Music etc...

Our Primary school programme offer grades From 1 through 5th grade.

Students inquire into the core subject areas each day, including mathematics, language arts (reading and writing), science, and social studies.

• In mathematics, students study the five content strands, including number, shape and space, measurement, pattern and function, and data handling.

• In language arts, students work on developing their reading, writing, listening and speaking, and viewing and presenting skills. Teachers use a range of instructional strategies in the classroom, including small group guided reading, reading and writing workshop, and independent reading and research time.

• Students inquire into living things, Earth and space, materials and matter, and forces and energy as part of the science program, and human systems and organizations, history, culture, and natural resources in social studies.

In addition to the core curriculum, student learning is supplemented throughout the week by extracurricular subjects, each of which is taught by a specialized outsourced instructor. Physical education, art, music and Hindi, Tamil classes are taught by well trained teachers. International languages like Spanish and French will be introduced in grade 3.
